1. Overview
Money Coach ("the App") is a personal finance tracking application developed by Turings XYZ Pvt Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, and protect your information when you use our app.
2. Data We Collect
When you create an account or use the app, we collect the following information:
Account Information: Your email address and display name (if provided) when you sign up with Email/Password or Sign in with Apple.
Financial Data: Expense entries, income sources, loan details, credit card information, and budget data that you manually enter into the app.
Device Information: Basic device information collected automatically by Firebase for security and authentication purposes.

Bank account details or passwords
Automatic transaction data

Advertising identifiers or behavioral tracking data

3. How Your Data is Stored
All data you enter into Money Coach is stored securely on Google Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) servers located in the asia-south1 region (Mumbai, India). Firebase is a trusted, enterprise-grade platform used by millions of apps worldwide.
Your data is:
Encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
Encrypted at rest on Google's servers
Accessible only to you when you are logged in with your account
Protected by Firebase Security Rules that prevent any other user from accessing your data
If you use Guest mode, your data is stored only on your device's local storage and is not synced to any server.
4. Authentication
We use Firebase Authentication (Google) to manage user accounts. We support the following login methods:
Sign in with Apple: We receive your name and email from Apple. Apple may provide a private relay email address to protect your real email.
Email/Password: Your email and a hashed password are stored securely by Firebase. We never store your password in plain text.
Guest Mode: No account is created. Data stays on your device only.
5. Who Can Access Your Data
Your financial data is private and can only be accessed by:
You — when logged into your account on any device
Turings XYZ Pvt Ltd — as app administrators, we have technical access to the Firebase database for maintenance and support purposes only. We do not read, share, or use your financial data for any other purpose.
We do not share your data with:
Advertisers or marketing companies
Data brokers
Any third parties (other than Google Firebase for storage)
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. If you delete your account or reset all data from Settings, your data is permanently deleted from our Firebase database.
7. No Advertising
Money Coach contains no advertisements and does not use any advertising networks or tracking technologies. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
8. Third Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the app:
Using the "Reset All Data" option in the app's Settings — this permanently deletes all your financial data from our servers

10. Children's Privacy
Money Coach is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We take the security of your data seriously. Your data is protected by:
Firebase Security Rules that restrict access to your data only
HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
Google's enterprise-grade security infrastructure
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and keep your login credentials private.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
